Jamaat-e-Islami calls for immediate general elections across the country

LAHORE: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Chief Sirajul Haq has said that general elections should be held immediately across the country.

Talking to the media in Lahore, he said that even if the PDM or PTI got the government 100 times, these people could not fix the country.

He said that only holding general elections can bring the country out of the current problems and crisis, so general elections should be held immediately across the country.

Siraj-ul-Haq said that despite so many resources, we have become a indebted nation, despite 1,000 kilometers of coastline and agricultural country, poverty is dancing.

Addressing the present government, Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami said that I want to say that in the next budget, announce the end of the interest system.

Today, the currency of Bangladesh, Afghanistan and India is much better than us, I tell the nation that their fight is only for power, if this government is given more time, the problems will increase.

He further said that Pakistan is a country of 224 million people, which came into existence on the basis of one ideology, every experiment here for 75 years has failed.
